Indaco Hosts Winemaker Dr. Francesca Bernicchi of Castello Di Corbara

Winery for a Special Dinner on Wednesday, November 12

Indaco will host Winemaker Dr. Francesca Bernicchi, production manager at Castello Di Cobara Winery in Italy for a special dinner on Wednesday, November 12. Oenologist, Dr. Bernicchi, a female winemaker in a traditionally male-dominated industry, will be at the dinner to talk about the wines of Castello Di Cobara. Situated on a hillside near the Lake of Cobara in central Italy, the winery includes multiple vineyards at diverse elevations, providing for a variety of soil compositions and microclimates that make for numerous distinct wines.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., the five-course, dinner will be paired with Costello Di Cobara wines beginning with a reception featuring the Orvieto Classico Superiore 2013, followed by:

- Wahoo crudo, citrus mignonette, micro basil, fried fingerling chips with Orvieto Classico Superiore 2013.

- Pizzoccheri, porcini, cabbage, truffle butter, pecorino romano with Orzaluma 2012.

- Flat Iron [what?] cooked on coals, rapini, salsa verde with Lago Di Corbara Blend 2012.

- Whole suckling pig, kale crema, fingerling potatoes, cippolini onions with Lago Di Corbara Cabernet Sauvignon 2012.

- Assorted desserts for the table.
