Guest Speakers

Elizabeth Malvasia:

Elizabeth is a professional ballroom dancer and competitor. In addition to her 2010 National Pro-Am Smooth Championship title and three national “Top Professional” awards in the dancesport industry, she also holds the titles of Miss South Carolina 2008 and Mrs. South Carolina 2010. Volunteerism is close to her heart serving as an advocate for the Ronald McDonald House Global Charities. As a successful entrepreneur and Vice President of Franchise Development, Elizabeth now helps other women achieve their dreams as a motivational speaker for the E-Women’s Network. In her role as Spokesmodel for Planet Ballroom International, she serves as the On-air host of PB-TV and the author of the official Planet Ballroom blog: “The Planet Ballroom Pulse.”  

Cynthia Reich, PharmD, MBA:

A Lowcountry native, Dr. Cynthia Reich is owner and pharmacist in Charge at Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  After earning her Bachelors of Science degree from Clemson University, Cynthia received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina.  She also holds Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from The Citadel- Military College of South Carolina. Prior to opening her own compounding pharmacy, Cynthia worked as the Director of Pharmacy for a large Louisiana hospital and as an Inspector for the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.  Cynthia is specially-trained in the art of pharmaceutical compounding, and currently counsels and compounds patient specific medication for pediatric, geriatric, veterinarian, hormone replacement, pain management and cosmeceuticals.

Cynthia lives with her husband Josh, and their children in Mt. Pleasant.  She is an active member of the South Carolina Pharmacist Association, the National Chain Pharmacist Association, and Professional Compounding Centers of America
