Songwriter Throwdown presented by Swampfire Records

On August 14th, Swampfire Records is presenting the first show of a two night, two city songwriter showdown featuring Connor Christian, Mckenzie Eddy and John Cranford.  The first night (August 14th at King Dusko in Charleston) will feature original songs by all three performers as well as some collaborations and covers of each others material.   Records is very excited about the shows and is proud to be bringing original music performance to the lowcountry.

CONNOR CHRISTIAN:   Front man of Connor Christian and Southern Gothic

Connor's "Sheets Down" music video spent over 14 weeks on CMT's Pure 12 Pack video series and reached the #1 slot.

Connor had been featured in Country Weekly, Country Music Life and Got Country Online.

Connor Christian and Southern Gothic's "New Hometown" debuted on 5 Billboard Charts including the #1 Hot Shot spot.

MCKENZIE EDDY:  Hilton Head born and raised songstress now located in Charleston, S.C.

Owner/Operator at King Dusko, 541 King Street, Charleston, S.C.

Ran the music division of DD172 New York and was involved in many

projects including blakroc, a hip hop collaboration between hip hop artists and The Black Keys.
